The Mixologist: True Love Will Find You In The End

By Antony. Music remains my constant companion. Here are some new songs by some new-to-me artists and a few old favorites. Most of the songs don’t sound particularly new, and that suits me and my mood just fine.

  1. Ryley Walker is creating some beautiful music. He makes dissonance pretty. It sounds like nature…maybe my image is shaped by his song from his last album “West Wind”–but that’s what it sounds like to me.

  2. Bay’s “Hold Back the River” honestly carried me through some rough moments in the last couple of months. That is a perfect song with heart to boot.

I’m loving the intimacy of Joan Shelley’s album Electric Ursa. And looking forward to Jesso’s album out soon.
